Also making a trip north, the Men's 2's beat Doncaster 4 by 3-2, with a hatrick and last minute winner from former captain, Sam Unwin.

Back at St Mary's, the Men's 3rd team defeated Louth 1 by 5-4 in a high scoring clash that saw both teams take the lead before Chesterfield ran out eventual winners.

The Men's 4's lost out 5-0 to Doncaster 5s, running out of steam and conceding 4 second half goals.

In the women's section, the 1st team put in another strong performance winning by 5-1 against Slazenger 2. Goals from Lindsay Vaugham (2), Georgia Fathers, Gracious Phillips and Megan Marr.

The 2nd team drew 3-3 in an equally balanced match against Leopold 1s of Sheffield. Goals for Chesterfield from captain, Nic Wright, Ruth Elliot, and Clare Cruse.

The 3rd team suffered a heavy defeat 12-0 against league title favourites, Kingston Upon Hull 3s.

The development team (badgers) drew 1-1 with Sheffield, with goal and player of the match performance from Millie Saunders.
