Around 30 players attended 6 weeks of trials at Beeston, with players coming from all around the East Midlands. Kaitlyn made it through the selection process and was selected into the team last night

In this last season, Kaitlyn has been a regular at Chesterfield HC in the girls teams (U12s and U14s) as well as keeping for the Badgers (development team) on Saturdays. She is very competitive, always smiling and fearless - great attributes for any keeper of any age!

The UK Lions tournament is a regional tournament for U13s and includes matches against the best players from every part of the country. It is a real showcase for the young hockey talent from the UK and is often young players first taste of real competitive action at a very high level.
