Chesterfield HC hosted an U8 festival of hockey this morning at St Mary's with visiting clubs Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Chapeltown, Barnsley & Sheffield Bankers giving a total of 14 teams and over 70 youngsters participating.

Chesterfield fielded 3 teams with several youngsters making their first appearance in Chesterfield colours which was great to see. There was some superb action on display with the players putting in a massive effort, and getting lots of goals, and it was really good to see them enjoying their hockey. Watching these boys and girls play good hockey, the future of the club looks very bright.
