Steve Lord, Hockey Heroes coordinator for Chesterfield HC, said this about the course "This is our 5th season of Hockey Heroes and we want to make it better than ever and even more fun for the kids than before.

Ultimately, we'd love more kids to take up hockey and this is one of the ways we're attracting new players. These sessions are really focussed on the kids and alongside the hockey it's about being active, learning, playing and making friends. I figure that if they enjoy it then they'll want to come back to it!"

The first of the eight week sessions is on Wednesday 17th April, starting at 6.15pm, St Mary's School, Newbold, Chesterfield.
