A lovely evening was had by all at the 2023-2024 Under 16 girls presentation meal. The girls decided the relaxed atmosphere of The Batch House was to be the venue and after a good catch up, natter and bite to eat the presentations began.

Manager, Heather Staton handed out the awards, which were as follows;

Players Player of the year - Freya
Coaches Player of the year - Penny
Most improved Player of the year - Macie
Supporters Player of the year - Freya

Heather said ‘It’s been a really enjoyable season watching these amazing young women continue to develop their hockey skills, most of the girls are now playing adult hockey and you can see a huge difference in their skill sets, fitness and attitude. I’m really looking forward to seeing what they can do next year. I’d also like to thank the parents who get the girls to training and matches and are a constant positive influence on the side lines on match days’.

CHC Under 16 girls are without a goal keeper for the 2024-2025 season and so looking to recruit in this area. If there’s a player from a club who’s not entering a U16 team in Sunday competition hockey next season please do get in touch.
