The final game for the 2s beckons. Matt Drohan's team have blown hot and cold this season, but will be wanting to finish strongly to put any relegation fears aside. The visitors are Horncastle 1s, who have challenged for the league title throughout the season and shown great consistency. The Lincolnshire side beat an 11 man Chesterfield heavily in the away fixture, and the boys in green will be looking to make amends for that result. Only 5 of the team that featured that day will be in the squad on Saturday, and captain Drohan will use all his resources to try and tame the prolific Horncastle attack.

Youngster Noah Bingham continues in the 2s squad, after good performances in recent games for the 2s. His rise has been amazing this season - the teenager started the season in the 4s, before quickly being promoted into Paul Ryan's 3s. After solidifying his place in the 3s it was only a matter of time until an opportunity would arise in the 2s. Likewise, veteran player Gareth Hunter, has turned back the clock and his good form has seen him rise from the 4s to the 2s in recent months.

League position favours a result for Horncastle, but recently their league form has dipped and Chesterfield will look to make the most of this final opportunity for points this season.
