With no subs in sight, Chesterfield ladies 2s faced off against Rotherham 3s for the penultimate game of the season.

The first half was dominated by Rotherham, who came out strong with heavy attacking pressure. Even with Chesterfield's strong defense, Rotherham managed to find the back of the net twice, securing a 2-0 lead.

Despite their attacking dominance, Rotherham struggled to convert several short corners. Chesterfield fought back and, with a goal by Jasmine, were put back in the game for the end of the first half.

After an inspiring team talk telling them to keep cool and stay composed, Chesterfield bounced back. With a well-timed pass from Sarah, Abi L made an amazing top D strike securing the equalizer.

Despite tired legs, Chesterfield held strong, and with a great pass from Abi G, Elise scored the final goal of the game, securing a well-deserved win for Chesterfield.

A special mention to Rachel, who, despite her apprehension, bravely stepped up to complete the team, showing great composure after a 20-year break from hockey.
