With only two games left of the season Holly has finally gripped her stick. With a great team talk in the changing rooms from our coach Abi G and captain Holly. Our goal keeper Loz was back and we all cheered and clapped. We were playing against Sheffield 4s who are 2nd in the table.

First half was strong with some great passes from Nehir, Nic and Meg. Unfortunately after 12 mins Sheffield 4s scored from a short corner. We held our heads up high and continued what we have been learning from Abi G in training, which resulted in a comeback goal - We had some enthusiastic spirit from the sidelines and at the back from Holly, Loz Sarah and Emma C. Our 2s dived down with a short corner and Nic on post from Abi G.
Shortly after Sheffield scored again. We go again. With only two mins left for the half time talk and sweets, Sarah carries the ball down to the D eyes Kara on the P spot, injects the ball and Kara strikes it into the net.

Half time talk:
Holly is enthusiastic and has no complaints other than to keep our heads in the game with what we’re doing.

Second half:
Esme and Jodie worked together with some good runs into the mid to bring the ball up and Kara and Daytona helping on the wing. Freya with some great defence skills made sure that Sheffield had to work hard to get that ball. Sheffield scored again with the passing through Sarah’s stick, whilst Captain Hol was faffing for her sunglasses - it's not the sun she should be worried about, but the goal in the back of the net ;)

The game ended 3-2 but, our aim this season was to remain in this league after promotion last season, and we stuck to that rule. We are all proud of how far we have come and we all enjoyed the game.
