The first game of the day at St Mary's features Holly Spavold's 2s in action against Grasshoppers of Sheffield, with a 10 am push back.
This is the last game of the season for this Chesterfield team and promises to be a close affair. Chesterfield currently sit 1 point above Grasshoppers in the league, and will be hoping to achieve the "double" over their local rivals, having beaten them earlier in the season back in November.

The second half of the season has seen ups and downs for the 2s with 3 wins and 4 loses, but no draws!

Having been promoted last season into this league, the season's aims were always going to be to maintain their league status and stay in the division. The team has succesfully achieved that and with games to spare so can go out and play with the freedom that comes with no pressure on the result. Captain Holly Spavold, is able to field a near full strength squad of regular players, looking to finish the season on a high.

Whilst the overall result has no impact on promotion or relegation for either team, the team's top goal scorer is still to be decided - it's neck and neck between Abi Lawson (6) and Abi Grocutt (7), closely followed by Kara Perry-Mason (5). Let's face it, a good performance from any of those three could make them top goal scorer for the 2s this season.
