Believe it or not, it's just 8 weeks until the league campaign starts on 13th September . We're currently in the pre-season stage and activities are beginning to restart up at Fortress St Marys for all adult teams.

For the next three Saturdays (26/7, 2/8, and 9/8) we have our Turn Up & Play sessions, running from 10 to 11.30am.
For more info take a look here . These sessions are inclusive, social, fun and a good chance to run around and play some mixed hockey (ages 13+).

A bit further ahead, on Saturday, 16th August, we are hosting our club "Social 6s" event. Expect the usual format of fancy dress, games of hockey, and other things, and some sun too! Signups on pitchero are encouraged ASAP so we can sort out everyone into teams. Click through here to the Event and confirm if you can make it or not.

The Men's 1s and 2s have restarted training for preseason and are training on Mondays and Thursdays at St Mary's. As many of the 1s and 2s squad players are encouraged to attend these sessions as possible. Speak to your captains Jack Hartley or Matt Drohan for further info if you haven't already been invited!

The Women's 2s and 3s will restart their hockey training sessions (led by Abi G) on Tuesday evenings from the 12th August.

Dates for training for the rest of the adult teams is being finalised and we'll update you as soon as we have it confirmed.

Saturday 6th September sees the return of our Hog Roast event - this is always a highlight and one for all the family to attend. From raffles, to food, drink and the cheese rolling competition, it's always a barrel of laughs (and beer too!).

For any new players joining this season or moving up from juniors - please do take a look on the website for information about fees, and also where to get kit and be allocated a shirt number for the season ahead!

Junior hockey is taking a break over the summer holidays and will restart when the schools go back in Derbyshire. We'll let you know the dates for this once it's finalised, but usually the first or second Wednesday in September.
