4. Kit Secretary

CHC is looking for a voluntary Kit Secretary to assist with the club’s kit provision for the 2022/23 season. The ideal volunteer will have strong organisational skills to organise a database of members, an ability to negotiate and work with external suppliers and they will possess strong interpersonal skills to liaise with club members to offer support and assistance when ordering kits and clubwear. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to become more involved with the club and to join the journey of building a club all members can be proud of. We are looking for someone dedicated and committed to ensuring our club badge and club colours are a symbol of pride for members to wear, as well as becoming a symbol of our club values to outside players and the local communities we operate in.

The volunteer’s roles will include:

  • Keeping members and membership kit numbers and records up-to-date to avoid repeat shirt numbers across the club
  • Become the club contact for Stash Kit, liaising with Stash to avoid repeat and confusing orders for our suppliers, ensuring club volunteers and members are appropriately and proud wearing CHC club wear when representing our club
  • Continually work with and negotiate with current kit suppliers to expand and improve our CHC range for club members
  • Help and assist existing and new members to order kit in line with club availability and standards
  • Work alongside the commercial team to order bulk club wide orders when sponsorships and commercial partners are renewed and reviewed

Please apply by sending a short paragraph and a CV (for general work/a previous application) to Sarah Smith on sarah.calderbank90@gmail.com. Please include the role you are applying for in the email subject.
