Website Manager

CHC is looking for a voluntary Website & Pitchero Manager to join the growing Social Media & Commercial team. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, strong organisational skills and be a natural problem solver. Pitchero are a small, growing company who release new features regularly and we as a club are keen to capitalise on the benefits and features of the site by having someone who knows the ins and outs of the software! This would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to explore marketing and commercial careers and/or someone with/looking for front-end and back-end website development experience. Due to the potentially sensitive nature of membership records on the website database, the club will be required to run a DBS check for this role.

The volunteer’s roles will include:

  • Keeping members and membership records up-to-date on Pitchero, by providing tech support for members who need assistance
  • Working as part of the Social Media team to upload and help review content for the website
  • Develop new marketing and social media strategies for an amateur sports club of our size in order to engage members, increase traffic and drive commercial (sponsorship) opportunities for the club
  • Becoming the “go-to” for club members and committee who need assistance with Pitchero features, including match fees and match reports
  • Ensuring that Club Treasurers have up-to-date financial reports, including missing match fee payments
